What is Solid Surface?
Solid surface is a man-made material, usually composed of a combination of Alumina Trihydrate (ATH), acrylic, epoxy or polyester resins and pigments. Whilst chemically composed and therefore a ‘man-made’ material, it’s blend of natural materials make it one of the most natural modern materials available on the market. We stock materials which have been accredited against BREEAM, LEED and Green Guard ratings, related to the protection of the natural environment.
